The promo idea was born out of one simple question. With all those supercars and crazy stunts, how does Top Gear get insured? This was the springboard for our campaign.

Matt, Chris and Rory each have their own passion, understanding and relationship with cars. They’re charming and funny characters who share a genuine sense of camaraderie. We were looking for an authentic way to showcase this. And with so much negative sentiment, the pressure was on. We wanted the nation to fall in love with them.

The promo is set in the most boring place in the world - the insurance department. This is where fun goes to die. Here we see our three daredevil presenters questioned by a pedantic, risk-averse insurance man.
